MIGIZI

 It is the 1920s, Manitoba, Canada. Migizi, an 8 year old Indigenous child is delivered to one of Canada's residential schools. Its purpose, as stated by the government: to take the Indian out of the Indian.

Inspired by the life of WWII hero, Tommy Prince, this story tells the tragedy of Canada's policy of forced assimilation of its native peoples.
